Everything You Need to Know About Lough House Farm

We’ve answered the key questions couples often ask about our venue - covering everything from guest numbers and ceremonies to catering, bars, and what’s included in your hire. Explore the sections to see how Lough House Farm can make your wedding day truly stress-free and unforgettable.

  • Our venue fee is based on a unique four-day hire: a day to set up, your wedding day, and a day to clear down. This relaxed schedule makes deliveries, décor, and collections stress-free, creating a calm, unhurried atmosphere for your celebration. You can even add an extra day if you’d like more time to prepare.

  • Wedding venue hire at Lough House Farm is £5,920 for 2026 and £6,220 for 2027. This includes exclusive use of the barn, bar area, side room, and pigsty, all dining and lounge furniture, heating, lighting, power, toilets, outdoor spaces with furniture, on-site parking, and the support of our experienced wedding planner. Marriage ceremonies are available for an additional £300.

  • Our barn can seat up to 150 guests for a seated meal, and we can host up to 200 guests in the evening. We also have spaces suitable for a marquee, so if your wedding is larger, just ask about the possibilities.

  • Lough House Farm is fully licensed for civil marriage ceremonies. Choose an intimate space for up to 50 guests, a larger ceremony in the barn, or even an outdoor legal ceremony surrounded by the Northumberland countryside.

  • You’re free to choose your own caterers… anything from burgers and BBQs to Greek street food or a three-course meal. We offer an in-house bar, but you’re welcome to bring in a specialist if you prefer. Dawn-Marie, our wedding planner, can help you find suppliers that perfectly suit your vision.

  • Lough House Farm offers a full in-house bar service, including reception and table drinks. If you prefer, you can supply your own drinks, and we’ll serve them for you. Alternatively, you’re welcome to hire a specialist bar company or run your own bar - giving you complete flexibility.

We believe every couple deserves time to breathe, prepare and enjoy the experience. That’s why we only ever host one wedding per week. Your booking includes four full days:

Bring your vision to life, decorate the barn, arrange deliveries and personalise the space.

Day 3 - Your Wedding Day
Get ready, celebrate, and enjoy your day in an unhurried, relaxed setting.

Day 4 - Clear & Collect
Time to tidy, gather items and take it all in - with no rush or stress.
